Due to the persistent and heavy rainfall currently impacting the area, organizers have made the difficult decision to cancel all carnival operations scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
The safety of our dedicated workers and valued carnival-goers is our utmost priority. The current weather conditions pose a significant risk, and we believe this decision is necessary to ensure everyone’s well-being.
We sincerely hoped the rain would subside and allow us to proceed as planned. However, the intensity of the precipitation has made it impossible to safely operate the carnival at this time.
We are pleased to announce that the carnival will resume operations on Friday and continue through Sunday, weather permitting. We look forward to welcoming the community for a weekend of fun and festivities.
We urge everyone to remain safe during this period of inclement weather and to follow all local safety advisories.
